Arvid Lindblad is set to make the step up to Formula Two with Campos next season, becoming the team’s first confirmed driver of 2025.
The 17-year-old Red Bull Junior had a stellar rookie season in FIA Formula Three in 2024, achieving an impressive four wins and one further podium, as well as a number of points finishes throughout the season.
Thanks to his consistency and strong performance across the year, Lindblad was still in contention for the championship title going into the final round, ultimately finishing fourth in the standings.
Team Principal Adrian Campos shared following the announcement that the team are “very happy to have a driver like Arvid in [their] ranks for 2025”, praising the young driver’s “immense talent”. Campos also shared that the team will be doing all they can during winter testing to prepare Lindblad for his debut next year.
Lindblad expressed that he is excited to be joining Campos in 2025, especially considering the strong performance that the team have delivered so far this year. Campos are currently second in the team’s championship, with their driver Isack Hadjar currently leading the driver’s standings.
