In a significant development for Rodin Motorsport, their star from 2024 will continue to race for the team heading into the next generation of Formula 3 cars. Callum Voisin, the 2023 GB3 champion who joined the outfit last year, continues on for 2025, marking his fourth year of racing for Rodin Motorsport, a partnership right from his early days in GB3 with the erstwhile Carlin outfit in 2022.

The Briton's debut Formula 3 season started off slow, but picked up pace after his home event in Silverstone. Voisin's first points of the year were during the Silverstone sprint, with fourth on the road.

He was on course to take a maiden win in the following day's feature race, however, a penalty for overtaking Jenzer's Max Esterson off the track on lap one meant he dropped down to third, conceding victory to PREMA's Arvid Lindblad. This was his first podium in the series.

Voisin backed up his showing with further points in Hungary, before he converted a front row start into victory in the feature race at Spa-Francorchamps, capping off his points scoring run on a high. Voisin's points were enough to put him 12th in the standings, with 67 points to his name.

His string of points scores helped Rodin avoid the wooden spoon, instead finishing eighth in the standings with 85 points, and only six off seventh-placed Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR).

“I am absolutely delighted to be teaming with Rodin Motorsport once again for the 2025 FIA F3 season," Voisin expressed.

"It will be my fourth year in this team so it really does feel like a second home. We made a huge amount of progress last year including winning and taking pole position at the Belgian Grand Prix last year.

"Going into my second season of F3 there is only one goal in mind and I will give it everything to make sure we achieve that," Voisin spoke, aiming for the top honours in 2025.

Voisin will be joined by his compatriot Louis Sharp at Rodin next year, with Sharp coming off a successful championship-winning GB3 campaign in 2024. Rodin would hope for both drivers to work together and for Voisin to put on a stronger campaign in 2025.

One week after announcing their entry into FIA F3, DAMS confirmed Nicola Lacorte as their first driver for the 2025 season.

Lacorte began his full-time single-seaters career in 2023, partaking in the UAE and Italian F4 championships on top of a mini-campaign in Euro 4.

Although the Italian started off in his native F4 championship strong - with a win and another podium from Imola - the rest of the season paled in comparison, finishing ninth overall.

The 17-year-old jumped to Formula Regional this past season, beginning in Oceania. There, he took a win in the third round at Hampton Downs. His European campaign, however, did not live up to those same standards, only finishing in the points twice with a best finish of ninth.

F1 ACADEMY: Ferreira joins the grid with VCARB

Replacing Amna Al Qubaisi as a VCARB sponsored driver, Rafaela Ferreira will don the iconic blue livery next season. Although, the team she will partner is yet to be confirmed.

After a prosperous karting career, the Brazilian made switch to single-seaters just last year. Having secured a podium during her debut season in the F4 Brazilian Championship, the 19-year old returned for a second year. She went on to rewrite history, becoming the series’ first female winner — now, she sits P4 in the championship standings with two victories and five additional podiums under her belt.

In response to the news, Ferreira remarked: "I'm extremely happy to be driving for the Visa Cash App RB Academy Programme in F1 ACADEMY in 2025. This opportunity represents a big step in my career, and is a dream come true to work with a team that has so much talent.”

RB Team Principal, Laurent Mekies, took the time to welcome the Italian outfit’s newest member:

"Everyone at the Team is hugely excited to welcome Rafaela to the VCARB family. Rafaela is an exceptional emerging Brazilian talent, and we're pleased to share this global, and empowering, platform to compete, race, and grow together.”

“F1 ACADEMY has been a great success this season, the exposure that it generated for women's motorsport is revolutionary,” he praised. “I hope we can continue to inspire the next generation of female talent in motorsports, and we look forward to seeing Rafaela grow and flourish as a driver.”
