Nerea Martí to continue with Campos Racing

Returning for her sophomore season, Nerea Martí completes this year’s F1 Academy grid. The Spaniard will collaborate with one of the series’ official partners, Tommy Hilfiger, and in turn finalises Campos Racing’s 2024 roster, accompanying the USA's Chloe Chambers and Germany’s Carrie Schreiner.

The 22-year-old made her single-seater debut in F4 Spain, claiming an incredible podium finish on her first race weekend. She quickly progressed to W Series and went on to complete two seasons, earning the positions of fourth and seventh in the driver’s championship.

Last year, Martí arrived to F1 Academy and contested in an excellent maiden campaign — a win and five other podium appearances secured her fourth=place in the driver’s championship. There is no doubt that Martí has become a force to be reckoned with, building a career in both GT and touring cars alongside her single-seater efforts.

Martí has made her ambitions for this season clear, with sights firmly set on championship glory: "I'm over the moon. Being able to continue with Campos Racing for another year in the F1 Academy is incredible. It's very special to do it with Campos Racing, being a Spanish team and one that we worked with last year, so we all know each other. The team is strong, and with everything we learned last season, this year we'll be able to be at the top.”

Campos Racing’s Team Principal, Adrian Campos, has also shared his excitement for the season ahead: “It’s great to have Nerea driving one of our cars again for 2024. She proved to be a clear contender for wins and podiums last year, and I feel confident that we will be able to further rise the bar this season. With more experience in the series, I have no doubts our goals are to be more ambitious yet in 2024.”

In response to Campos Racing’s lineup, he went on to praise their trio: “We have put together a nice group of female drivers and we are restlessly working to arrive in Jeddah on top form.”
