Backed by Aston Martin, Tina Hausmann will continue her stint with PREMA Racing and the Silverstone-based outfit for a second consecutive year.
The Swiss driver had a difficult start to her inaugural season, but began to build momentum in the latter stages — taking her best result of P4 in Abu Dhabi, Hausmann also clinched P10 in the driver’s standings and helped PREMA surpass Rodin Motorsport in the team’s title.
Looking to continue her run of good form, she said: “Being able to race for a second year in the series with Aston Martin Aramco and PREMA Racing — two incredible teams committed to competing at the top — means a lot to me.
"I want to thank everyone who made this possible. The relentless support of fans around the world has fuelled me with energy to push forward. As a passionate and determined driver, I am fully committed to constantly improving and growing.”
She will continue to be mentored by Aston Martin’s Head of F1 Academy, Jessica Hawkins. The British driver praised Hausmann’s efforts, saying:
“I am really excited to continue working with Tina in 2025 as she embarks on her second year in F1 ACADEMY. Over the past season, she has grown tremendously, gaining valuable experience and developing both her skills and confidence on track.”
