The Singaporean-Korean, Christian Ho, makes history as he becomes the first driver from his nation to be competing in the 2025 FIA F3 championship with none other than returnee F3 team DAMS.

Ho completes the line-up for the french team and is set to drive alongside teammates Matías Zagazeta and Nicola Lacorte in the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship.

Starting at the ripe age of 10, Ho competed in karting series such as the WSK Final Cup, IAME International Final and the CIK-FIA European Championship.

He continued competing in various karting series from 2017 up-to 2021, seeing a rise in his career trajectory after each race.

He was the overall vice champion for the FIA Academy Trophy, where he represented Singapore in 2019, and went on to represent Singapore in the FIA Karting Gala event in Paris as well.

Ho also became the overall vice champion in the DKM German Championship in the same year.

In 2020, Ho was able to secure third place in two series which was the WSK Super Master Series and Champions Cup, slowly starting to show the rise in his career trajectory.

It wasn’t until 2022 when Ho, aged 16, began his single seater racing career, starting off in the Formula 4 UAE Championship with MP Motorsport, who he also drove for in the F4 Spanish Championship.

The peak of Ho’s performance however, came in the 2023 F4 Spanish Championship.

Ho won five races and achieved nine podiums within the 16 races he competed in, garnering a total of 291 points with Campos Racing.

23 points is what separated Ho and the series’ champion Théophile Nael, who will also compete in the 2025 FIA F3 Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing.

After this successful championship, Ho went on to race in Eurocup-3 with Campos Racing, where he once again finished second after garnering a total of 248 points, a mere two off the champion, incoming F3 driver Javier Sagrera, who himself is set to drive for AIX Racing.

Ho also went against drivers such as Bruno Del Pino and Nikola Tsolov, who we will see racing on the F3 track this year as well in MP Motorsport and Campos Racing respectively.

While Ho has raced against most of the drivers he will see on the racetrack in Formula 3, the fans will be truly hopeful to see the driver race with all his efforts and emerge victorious for the newest Formula 3 team, DAMS.

“I’m proud to be the first F3 driver from Singapore, it feels amazing to join DAMS Lucas Oil and I’m raring to go. I’ve had a strong season in Eurocup-3, and I’m aiming to carry this form into 2025.

“My target is to be competitive in the Championship, which is one of the toughest in the world, so I’ll work with the team to deliver the best possible results,” said incoming rookie, Christian Ho.

“We’re delighted to have signed Christian, his pace during the test days was impressive and he has a great racing CV. It’s amazing for him to be the first driver from his nation to compete in F3.

“We’re pleased to now have our 2025 line-up confirmed and we’ll continue working hard to be in good shape when we arrive in Melbourne.” added Charles Pic, former F1 racer, and owner of the DAMS outfit.
