Formula E, the all-electric racing series, has announced the appointment of Jeff Dodds as its new CEO, effective from June 5th. Dodds, who joins Formula E from Virgin Media O2, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He held executive positions at renowned companies such as Callaway Golf and Honda, before his appointment as CEO of Formula E.

Formula E co-founder and chairman, Alejandro Agag, praised Dodds' dynamic leadership and impressive execution, expressing his confidence in Dodds' ability to unlock the championship's full potential. Agag's endorsement reflects the high expectations set for Dodds as he takes the reins of the rapidly-expanding electric racing series.
The outgoing CEO, Jamie Reigle, who has been in the position since September 2019, will step down, but remain as an advisor to Formula E until the end of the year. Reigle expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead Formula E and commended the organisation's ambitious mission. He noted the dedicated and passionate individuals within the championship, committed to building a global sport while simultaneously driving positive change in the world.
Reigle pledged his support to Dodds during the transitional period and expressed his excitement about returning to being a devoted fan of Formula E.
