This morning, KTM have unveiled their updated colours for their factory and satellite outfits that will compete in MotoGP for the coming season.

The factory team will retain their Red Bull sponsorship and have combined it with a very slick looking design. Compared to their 2020 challenger, it has smoothed out and refined an already attractive design.
The biggest change is to the Tech 3 satellite team. They have dropped most of their sponsorship and looks to have no title sponsor, other than KTM itself. To me, this looks much better than the 2020 bike, much nicer to look at and a very modern design.
The riders for the works team this year are Brad Binder and Miguel Oliveira, with Danilo Petrucci and Iker Lucona lining up for the Tech 3 team.
Factory team boss, Mike Leitner, is showing great confidence after an improved season last year, stating; “Increased pressure for sure brings more motivation to the race team because all the KTM people working in this racing business are ‘built’ for pressure”. He continued, “This is the DNA of our sport – or for sport in general – and we’ll take this as a positive thing. For 2021, we are on the timescale. We had ideas and we had to find a good balance between what we can achieve now and between five days testing in Doha”.
With testing at Doha and the first race in Qatar looming large, this is a loud statement of intent by KTM. A 3rd place finish in the team standings is a good start, only time will tell if they can improve further this season.
