Round two of the IMSA WeatherTech sportscar championship takes place in Sebring for the 73rd running of the 12 Hours of Sebring. On a track notorious for its physical nature and its violent bumps each of the drivers will be tested to the limit, both physically and mentally.


With names such as Kevin Magnussen, Jack Aitken, Scott Dixon, Alex Palou, Danil Kvyat, Romain Grosjean and many more on the stacked 59-car grid, there will be plenty of action to follow along with.

02:12 - No.7 Porsche driven by Felipe Nasr, Nick Tandy and Laurens Vanthoor win the 12 Hours of Sebring


02:10 - White Flag


02:09 - Nasr looks good for the win, but is still putting in the fastest laps of the race, dominant finish from Porsche


02:05 - The closest lead gap is LMP2, with just under 2 seconds. Five minutes remain and Nasr in the No.7 leads by almost five seconds.


02:00 - Jakobsen in the No.04 has had an incident with a GT car, sending the Corvette spinning off the road, the Crowdstrike getting a drive through penalty.


01:59 - Change in LMP2 as well, Tom Dillmann in the No.43 Inter Europol takes the lead


01:57 - Change of lead in GTD, Phil Ellis in the Mercedes goes up the inside and tags the Lexus, but Hawksworth keeps it pointing in the right direction, Ellis now instantaneously pulls a gap out.


01:55 - Fastest laps for different cars coming in in LMP2, the No.04 is still in the lead, now by a second and a half.


01:51 - Still Lexus vs Mercedes in GTD, the No.12 is ahead, but No.57 of Phil Ellis is trying everything to get past


01:49 - New GTD PRO lap record from Laurin Heinrich in the No.77 Porsche, he leads that class by 1.2 seconds


01:44 - Lead gap in GTP is a second and a half, with every other class being around half a second between leaders and second place.


01:42 - The No.11 car that turned them around has shot up the order to fourth, the No.22 were the championship leaders and the Daytona winners.


01:40 - No.22 United LMP2 off the road at turn one, they were running second before a hit from the No.11 TDS car


01:39 - Green Flag - 30 minutes remain


01:37 - So before we go green, No.7 Porsche leads GTP, No.04 leads LMP2, No.77 Porsche leads GTD PRO and No.12 leads GTD


01:30 - Both the No.31 and No.25 have pit, both take tyres, they will be full push until the end.


01:27 - This FCY completely changes the course of the race, the No.25 BMW, No.31 Cadillac and No.93 Acura are now back in play in GTP. While Tower Motorsports have got their No.8 LMP2 in before the flag was called, so they are fully fuelled and should lead when everyone else pits.


01:25 - A GTD Mercedes has discarded its tyre carcus in the middle of the back straight, FCY


01:24 - With just over 45 minutes remaining, there's a Porsche 1-2 in GTP, a two way battle between the No.04 and No.8 in LMP2


01:20 - Malthe Jakobsen looking for a way past Sebastian Bourdais in the LMP2 lead battle.


01:18 - Both the Porsches in now, No.7 about 7 or 8 seconds ahead of the No.6


01:16 - Battle for the net lead in GTD between the No.12 Lexus and No.57 Mercedes, the Lexus ahead for now


01:08 - No.31 Cadillac into the pits with an hour an three minutes remaining, they will be a handful of laps short of the flag without a FCY


01:04 - Many cars, including the second placed No.31, will need to fuel save to make it to the end on one more stop, the two leading Porsches should make it.


01:01 - Change for the lead in GTD PRO, the No.77 'Rexy' has taken the lead from the No.48 BMW.


00:53 - The No.021 is slow again, but gets it going as LMP2 strategies come into play, its unclear which teams can make it to the end on one more pit stop.


00:52 - The No.24 BMW has had an off, that car is 30 laps off the lead and way out of contention, not the result the polesitters wanted


00:50 - No.021 GTD Ferrari slow out of turn eight, McAleer got it back going again however, they sit 11th in class.


00:45 - In the LMP2 battle, Bourdais has pit, No.04 stays out for now.


00:40 - The lead gap coming close to six seconds now, with the Cadillac a further two seconds back. 90 minutes to go.


00:31 - Battle for the lead in LMP2, with Sebastian Bourdais in the No.8 Tower Motorsports chasing the No.04 Crowdstrike car driven by Toby Sowery.


00:27 - Jaminet has gotten past Bamber for second, and instantly pulls out a gap, with his teammate already 3 and a half seconds up the road.


00:25 - The slight offset between the Porsches and the Cadillac in terms of pitstops may prove crucial. The No.31 may have to lift and coast to save fuel to get to the end on one more stop, the Porsches should'nt


00:23 - The pair of Penske Porsches took tyres and drivers, Nasr in the No.7 now, Jaminet in the No.6


00:22 - Both Porsche out ahead of Bamber in the Cadillac, but the No.6 struggles with tyre warm up and the No.31 gets past in to second.


00:20 - The two Porsches come in now nose to tail, crucial stops now for the Penske crew.


00:15 - Matt Campbell now sets the fastest lap of the race, the Australian in the No.6 is catching his teammate in the No.7.


00:13 - No.31 Cadillac into the pits, Earl Bamber stepping in for Vesti, the Porsches now lead 1-2.


00:12 - Battle in LMP2 for the lead, as the No.04 Crowdstrike takes the lead back from the No.22 United Autosports.


00:10 - Tandy has pulled a second and a half on Vesti now, roles reversed from the first time they battled


00:08 - LEAD CHANGE - Nick Tandy has taken the lead from Vesti after a move through traffic to move the No.7 up to P1

23:51 - Battle raging for the lead, with Tandy and Vesti in the No.7 and No.31 battling it out. Cadillac ahead of Porsche.


23:37 Drama for the No21 Ferrari GTD Skeen behind the wheel. Puncture for him, he is back in the pits


23:30 Green! Full send for the GTP lead as an epic battle leads Cadillac P1 here at Sebring with Porsche P2 in GTP! Vesti leads Tandy, +0.7 between them!


23:17 FCY, as Luis Pérez Companc crashes the LMP2 in the final corner. Huge accident now, and it will take a while to repair the barrier.


23:15 Green green green! A lengthy FCY is off and we are back to racing! Beautiful sunset here at Florida.


23:09 No60 Acura of Tom Blomqvist has made a contact in the pits with one of the BMWs in GTP. Heartbreak now for Acura as they are asked to bring the car into the garage


22:56 Just a small spin for the 27 GTD Aston Martin in the last corner to let it safely come back on track. Now the pass around will be completed and we are ready to restart the race.


22:53 FCY, 6th time this race! No information right now.


22:46 The magic hour starts here! The sun sets and the risks increase for drivers and it is getting more and more tiring to keep the concentration. 3 Hours to go! Vanthoor leads the No7 Porsche overall


22:22 No31 Cadillac of Aitken in GTP is 50 seconds in front of P2. Dixon P2 for Acura, Vanthoor P3 for No7Porsche. Alex Palou P4 for No93 Acura and Kevin Estre is P5 for No6 Porsche Penske. Jakobsen leads in LMP2 for No04. Milner P1 in GTD PRO for No4 Chevy and Skeer P1 in GTD for 120 Porsche. Yellow as No21 AF Corse Ferrari is out! DNF for a mechanical reason.


22:13 Leading Porsche No7 of Vanthoor is off after a pitstop, into the lead of 7.4 seconds here at Sebring. The sun is yet to set here to bring the magic atmosphere!


21:57 - We're not too far away from GTP stops again, the No.25 BMW on just 1% energy.


21:49 - The No.57 Mercedes of Philip Ellis has received a drive through penalty for a pitstop infringement.


21:48 - Battle for third in LMP2, the two United Autosports cars within half a second of each other in third and fourth, with Mikkel Jensen in the Tower Motorsports car another half a second back in fifth


21:38 - The gap between the No.7 and No.31 in first and second is now just under two and a half seconds.


21:35 - The No.93 Acura finally pits now, finishing the pit stop cycles for the leading GTPs, the No.7 still leads now with Laurens Vanthoor at the wheel.


21:29 - The No.60 Acura has come in now too, and the leading No.31 Cadillac a lap later.


21:26 - As the GTP cars begin to hit their latest pit stops, we seem to be at a stage in the race for the leaders where drivers are focusing on turning consistent laps to stay there or thereabouts in the battle for the lead, setting up for a possible grandstand finish as darkness approaches in an hour or two.


21:24 - Felipe Nasr has brought the No.7 car in from the lead now, No.31 again takes over the lead.


21:21 - The No.6 Porsche has been in and out of the pits from third, now back in seventh. The No.25 BMW of Robin Frijns has set the fastest lap of the race.


21:19 - Battle for the lead in GTD, the No.57 Mercedes leads by half a second from the No.21 Ferrari, who is in turn another half a second ahead of the No.27 Aston Martin.


21:16 - The lead gap is now eight and a half seconds, with Nasr ahead of Aitken. The LMP2 lead gap is over a minute. The Crowdstrike No.04 car dominating that class

21:01 - The No.27 Aston Martin has taken over the lead of GTD from the stricken Mercedes which is now behind the barriers.


20:59 - No sign of a yellow for now, Koch has pulled the car off to the side of the road beside a gap in the fencing, so the marshalls may be able to get to work under green.


20:57 - The No.32 Mercedes has pulled off the road from the lead of GTD. It looks to be a major issue for the team.


20:54 - The No.48 BMW of Jesse Krohn has passed Tommy Milner in the No.4 Corvette for third in GTD PRO. The top four in that class covered by just under four seconds


20:49 - The earlier LMP2 incident between the No.11 and No.88 has been deemed a racing incident as the No.88 hit a bump, sending it into the No.11


20:48 - The lead gap is now out to seven and a half seconds as Nasr is gradually increasing the gap between himself and Jack Aitken


20:41 - Spin for the No.11 LMP2 as they get spun around after tagging the No.88 LMP2. The No.11 gets back going again without need for a FCY or without too much damage.


20:40 - Battle for second in GTD PRO between the No.4 Corvette of Nicky Catsburg and the No.77 Porsche 'Rexy' driven by Laurin Heinrich.


20:38 - Battle for fourth as the No.25 BMW goes past Neel Jani in the No.5, but the Proton Porsche owes us a stop.


20:36 - With Van Der Zande bringing the No.93 Acura into the pits, the No.7 Porsche will retake the lead, from the No.31


20:32 - Bamber brings the No.31 into the pits now, Jack Aitken will hop into that car again as Bamber steps out


20:29 - Leader in the pits now, Nasr brings the No.7 Porsche into the pits. Bamber leads again but owes a pit stop.


20:21 - No.6 Porsche and No.24 BMW into the pits now from fourth and fifth


20:20 - Lap times are falling now as the track seems to be getting quicker, with four GTP's setting their fastest laps of the race in the last five laps.

20:12 - The two leaders have now cleared that battle, the gap between them now two seconds.


20:10 - The two leaders have come across the No.10 Cadillac and the No.63 Lamborghini who are battling with each other. The Cadillac has the right side headlight popped out, they may need to pit for repairs.


20:07 - Lead Change - Felipe Nasr goes around the outside of Bamber to take the lead of the race as the pair fight through traffic.


20:05 - The lead gap is coming down now, Nasr under three seconds back from Bamber in the Cadillac now.


20:00 - Renger Van Der Zande in the No.93 is on the charge after his drive through penalty, up to fifth after a move on the No.24 BMW at turn seven.


19:59 - Bamber still leads in the No.31 Cadillac, the gap to the No.7 Porsche behind is almost seven seconds.


19:47 - The No.93 has come in to serve its drive through penalty, so the No.31 leads now from the No.7 Porsche of Felipe Nasr, and then the pair of BMWs in third and fourth, No25 ahead of No.24.


19:45 - Looking down the classes, the No.04 Crowdstrike car leads by 40 seconds. The No.1 BMW driven by Connor De Phillippi leads by a couple of seconds over the No.77 in GTD PRO, with the No.36 Corvette of Charlie Eastwood leading GTD


19:40 - Drive through penalty for the No.93 Acura for a pitstop infringement. The second placed overall car will drop down the order.


19:39 - The No.93 has now come in, the No.31 leads again.


19:35 - Leader pits, the No.31 has been brought into the pits by Earl Bamber, and is now back out on track. no.93 Acura now leads, but owes us a stop.


19:32 - Tyre carcus of that car has been discarded at the beginning of the back straight. It's flown off onto the grass and mostly out of harms way. Klingerman still limping back.


19:29 - No.78 Lamborghini has a left front puncture, a long way from the pits too. Parker Klingerman trying to limp the car back to the pits.


19:26 - Estre in and out of the pits now, he'll be pushing on to undercut Wittmann in the BMW.


19:24 - No.25 BMW and No.6 Porsche side-by-side down to the final corner. Wittmann uses traffic to pounce of Estre and get the move done. Estre expected in the pits soon however.


19:20 - Rear left puncture for the No.70 Inception Ferrari, Brendon Iribe able to come into the pits without too much damage


19:19 - The No.7 Porsche and No.25 BMW have pulled a gap on the No.60 Acura behind. The two German cars still nose to tail, with Wittmann looking for a way past Estre.


19:15 - Problem for the No.45 Wayne Taylor Lamborghini, as Danny Formal slows on the back straight. The battle for fourth, fifth, and sixth passes by going three wide, Wittmann in the No.25 BMW gets by Braun in the No.60 Acura. Braun struggling with major tyre wear.

19:04 - Yelloly is on a charge, he's passed the sister No.60 Acura for second now. The No.7 has passed the No.60 too, Christian Braun struggling now in fourth.


19:02 - GTP leaders coming through GTD traffic now, Nick Yelloly in the No.93 Acura has passed Nick Tandy in the No.7 Porsche for third. Earl Bamber has pulled out a second gap in the leading No.31 Cadillac.


19:00 - LEAD CHANGE - Earl Bamber has overtaken Christian Braun at the final corner to put the No.31 ahead of the No.60. The No.7 Porsche and No.93 Acura sit just behind, with the top four covered by just a second.


18:57 - Lead change in LMP2, Malthe Jakobsen in the No.04 has gone up the inside of Juan Correa in the No.2 for the lead in LMP2. Jakobsen has immediately pulled a second on the No.2.


18:56 - The No.60 Acura of Christian Braun leads the way by half a second to the No.31. The position change happened during the FCY pit stops.


18:45 Green flag! No40 Caddy recieves a penalty because of the emergy condition and damaged bodywork. It is in the pits now.


18:36 Kevin Magnussen is in! The No24 BMW M is P7 overall and in GTP. FCY right now.


18:32 No40 Caddy is into the wall! FCY. The Caddy is into the pits with damage.


18:10 8 Hours to go! Bamber leads in 31 Cadillac. Snow leads the No1 BMW and Wadoux leads for No21 Ferrari.


18:04 Alex Palou brings the 93 Acura into the pits with Yelloly back in the car. 25 BMW leads in GTP.


17:58 Lamborghini SC63 driven by Kvyat pits and goes to Bortolotti. 23 Aston Martin GTP into the pits and out in P8 overall. Caddy still P1 with Vesti, 5.4 secodns in front.


17:47 Featured names update: Vesti leads for Cadilac overall. Alex Palou P2 for Acura GTP. Vanthoor P3 for Porsche. Ølsen P8 for Ford in GTD PRO. GTP battle between two Porsches for P5. Pino overtakes Campbell.


17:37 LMP2 Battle is on between Jensen and Lindh for the lead. Snow and Bachler close for the lead in GTD PRO (BMW and Porsche). Ford Mustang of Ølsen into the pits. Waddux leads in Ferrari No21 for GTD.


17:19 Vesti continues to lead in GTP for Cadillac,14 second lead. Calm times here at Sebring as the drivers are perserving fuel and tires. GTD Pro battle might happen between the 77 Porsche Bachler and 1 BMW Snow for P1 in class.

16:53 - side by side BY SIDE - for No.74, No.73 and No.88 - luckily the No.88 and No.74 don't collide for a second time in this race.


16:51 - Quite a few LMP2 class cars are coming for more fuel now, it doesn't look like there are any driver changes for now.


16:50 - No.1 has a small collision when trying to lap the No.20 in the GTD class. It allows for class leader No.21 Ferrari Pier Guidi to gain a few important car lengths


16:42 - Vesti continues to lead by a second to Palou in his Cadillac. McElrea is easily leading LMP2 class by over 12s and 22s to 3rd.


16:27 - No.17 Lexus seems to have a problem with its radiator as it is lopsided - it makes it back to the pitlane safely.


16:18 - The No.47 Ferrari, who was 4th in GTD class, comes to a halt on the backstraight. Not sure if a yellow will be called, but the Ferrari is outside of track limits and near a barrier opening for the marshalls to rescue it.


16:17 - The GTP class have already caught up to the GTD stragglers. Let's see how much time is lost or gained in the traffic.


16:13 - Green Green Green! Vesti jumps to a 1.3s lead in his Cadillac ahead of Palou's Acura.

15:57 - No.99 Oreca and No.52 Oreca collide at T1 and hit the barriers heavily! The No.99 has no rear wing.


15:50 - Aiken in then No.31 Cadillac leads the field by 1.3s to No.93 Van Der Zande in the Acura.


15:47 - Green Green Green!

15:31 - Side by side for No.77 Porsche and No.1 BMW for the GTD Pro Leaders! close racing for multiple corners!


15:25 - No.10 Cadillac GTP received Stop-Go+60s for its collision with No.23 which led to the FCY period.


15:23 - Grosjean takes the Green flag for the No.63 Lambo... but fails to accelerate and drops to the back of the GTP field before reaching the start line... must have left the car in FCY mode.


15:20 - No.63 Grosjean Lamboghini leads No.31 Aiken Cadillac! The go-around has happened, we're waiting to go green!


15:15 - A lot of pit-stops for fuel, quite a bit of confusion on why some cars couldn't come into the pitlane as the entry light wasn't on. Seems like this is a problem caused by race control. Looks like some teams are frustrated by this!

15:05 - No.023 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari has crashed into the wall, Safety Car out. It has reportedly been tapped by one of the Cadillacs from GTP


14:37 - Collision between the No.32 Mercedes in GTD, hits the No.20 Porsche GTD Pro, the No.20 spins off the track


14:33 - GTD Leader (No.21 Ferrari) spins off the track and just misses the tyre barrier! Pier Guidi comes into the pits immediately as it looks like there is an issue with the left front brake, the crew are replacing it.


14:28 - Vanthoor comes in and returns to the track in the middle of the GTD class.


14:27 - No.88 receives a stop-go 10s Penalty for causing a collision.


14:25 - We're back under Green conditions, No.24 BMW Vanthoor will have to come into the pits in the next 3 laps to serve his penalty.


14:19 - No.18 Oreca makes a return to the track following a helpful hand by the marshalls.


14:17 - PENALTY for No.24 BMW, Vanthoor - Changing lanes at the race start! He will not be able to serve this under the Full Course Yellow and will lose a lot of time on the field.


14:16 No.70 Ferrari is given a Drive-Thru for causing a collision.


14:15 - CRASH! No.88 and No.18 in LMP2 are in the wall! The No.88 rejoined, but the Full Course Yellow is out!


14:13 - Leader Vanthoor in the No.24 BMW puts 1.5s on the field in the first lap alone!


14:12 - Spin for the No.13 GTD Corvette following a bump from the No.70 Ferrari, which is now being looked at by race control.


14:10 - We're GREEN for the 73rd running of the 12 Hours of Sebring! 50 Cars set off for what should be a great race!
