IMSA returns for the penultimate race of the year, the IMSA Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis, with the Top 3 in the championship all starting inside the first three places. The race will last 6 Hours, and will be crucial in the overall IMSA Championship.

17:21 - No.66 Acura GTD has slowed down, in the escape road of Turn 1 and has come to a stop.
17:19 - The drivers are barely able to stay on the circuit and have been pushing one another onto the grass, therefore picking up more water on their tyres and making it even trickier to stay on the track. Alexander Sims in the No.3 Corvette GTD Pro is out on slick tyres
17:17 - It's a duel between the No.7 Porsche and the No.01 Cadillac for the lead of GTP - Nasr and Bourdais both trading places multiple times!

17:14 - Aitken in the No.31 Cadillac has come out of the pits in 9th place, after initially running inside the Top 3 early on.
17:11 - The No.99 Oreca LMP2 car being driven by Pj Hyett currently runs in fourth place overall, despite running against the faster GTP field after making an early pit stop.
17:05 - The Top 3 in GTP now come into the pits, Romain Grosjean in the No.63 Lamborghini stays out on track despite the heavy rain
17:04 - The No.12 Lexus GTD car has fitted slick tyres in their pit stop - most of the field now split for strategy between wet and dry tyres
17:03 - Further rain is falling after the first round of pit stops, the race has been declared DRY currently.
17:01 - The GTP field have come into the pit lane, the only drivers staying out on circuit are the No.7 Porsche, No.31 Cadillac, No.01 Cadillac and the No.63 Lamborghini.

16:54 - Felipe Nasr in the No.7 Porsche leads the field by over 5 seconds, with Jack Aitken behind in the No.31 Cadillac.
16:53 - Ben Keating in the No.2 Oreca LMP2 car leads the LMP2 field, with the No.52 LMP2 car of Nick Boulle closing him down, the pair separated by just one second.
16:51 - No.19 Lamborghini Iron Lynx has been brought back into the pit lane, they may face a penalty and have suspension damage after contact
16:50 - No.31 Cadillac driven by Jack Aitken has overtaken the No.01 Cadillac driven by Sebastien Bourdais for second place, up the inside into Turn 1 after being squeezed against the pit wall
16:47 - No.40 Acura driven by Louis Deletraz has spun around at the final corner, the Acura now falling off the podium
16:46 - Damage to the No.19 Lamborghini GTD Pro car, the Lamborghini coming into the pit lane

16:43 - A chaotic start to this race, the No.6 Porsche from 3rd place has slipped behind to 6th place - The No.7 Porsche leads this race, as the No.01 Cadillac slips behind to second
