Miami confirmed for 2022 F1 Calendar

Miami has been confirmed as an addition to the F1 Calendar in 2022 with a 10-year deal.

The circuit will be situated around the Hard Rock Stadium which hosts a different variety of sporting events in Miami. F1 will be another addition to this list.

This circuit will not be a permanent circuit, instead it will be similar to a street circuit with the site being used for other events as well. The proposed circuit in Miami will feature 19 corners and have an estimated top speed of 320km/h (198mph) as well as 3 DRS zones. Further details about the circuit will be released in the future.

The Miami Grand Prix will be expected to generate more jobs for the city and increase its exposure and interest to more demographics and bring more diversity into the sport.
