Lando Norris secured his second ever career victory at the Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands, with Max Verstappen and Red Bull unable to mount a proper challenge.

Norris would lose the lead of the race at the start, with Max Verstappen's Red Bull soaring into the distance after overtaking the McLaren at Turn 1, leading by multiple seconds over Norris.

Oscar Piastri would also lose third place at the start, with both McLaren's experiencing issues with wheelspin off the start. Piastri would be overtaken by George Russell, with Charles Leclerc close in pursuit.

On Lap 18, Norris would take the lead from Verstappen, who began struggling greatly for tyre grip, particularly at Turn 10. After Norris overtook the Dutchman, he would remain mostly unchallenged, with the most difficult part of the race being the lapped traffic.

Sergio Perez would finish in sixth, a relatively difficult race for the Mexican, who is still fighting to remain in Formula One.

Lewis Hamilton cut through the field after just a few short laps, the 7-time champion started from 15th and managed to cut his way through to finish in 8th, just a few seconds from teammate George Russell.

Whilst the racing at the front of the field was relatively dull and took a while to get going, the midfield battle surged on in the duel for the final points paying position in 10th, with Fernando Alonso fighting the Haas of Nico Hulkenberg and the RB of Daniel Ricciardo.

Oscar Piastri would eventually be overtaken by Charles Leclerc courtesy of the more favourable undercut strategy, as Leclerc took a surprise podium, with a third place finish.

Lando Norris would come home to claim his second ever career victory in F1, and he is the only person to win the Dutch GP in the last few years, other than Max Verstappen, who finished comprehensively far behind the McLaren of Norris, Verstappen's Red Bull over 20 seconds down.

Both Sauber's would continue a disappointing run of results, the pair of them finishing in 19th and 20th. Logan Sargeant made a couple of places up, with recent reports suggesting the American's race seat is in jeopardy.

The Constructors' Championship heats up considerably, with McLaren now just 30 points behind the leaders, Red Bull.

F1 returns next weekend for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
