Justin Allgaier wins overtime and $100,000 in the Dash 4 Cash. Allgaier is the first repeat Xfinity winner of 2025, so let’s see how it happened.
As it unfolded
Two rookies led the field. Taylor Gray started on the inside, and Connor Zilisch on the outside as they took the field to the green flag.
Gray had a great start, pulling away as Zilisch and Justin Allgaier went side by side.
Kyle Larson went from 15th into the top 10 in just a couple of laps. By lap 8, Larson was in the top 5.
On lap 5, Carson Kvapil had to serve a drive-through penalty for leaving the start formation too early.
Allgaier took the lead from Gray by going down the inside on lap 7. The teammates did not fight too much during this change of position.
On lap 13, Sheldon Creed brushed the wall as he passed Zilisch but suffered no damage. Sam Mayer also got past Gray for second place.
Larson was on a charge as he passed Gray on lap 15 and was catching the frontrunners quickly.
Austin Hill also started down in 19th place and worked his way to ninth place by lap 15.
On lap 16, rookie Christian Eckes went up in smoke as he suffered a transmission issue, forcing the race's first caution.
For the restart, all four Dash 4 Cash drivers started in the top 10, with Allgaier and Mayer on the front row, A. Hill in seventh, and Jesse Love in tenth.
Allgaier led the field back to green with Mayer on lap 24. Larson gave Allgaier a little push to get them going, passing Mayer. The three fought back and forth until Larson jumped to the bottom and pulled in front of Mayer and Allgaier. Allgaier dropped to third.
In the restart, Zilisch was also able to pass Creed and Ryan Sieg, putting him in fourth.
On lap 30, another caution was thrown as Kris Wright had two flat tyres.
Larson took the field to the green flag on lap 34, and Mayer was caught out. Mayer was momentarily passed by Allgaier and Creed but repassed Creed. A. Hill also broke into the top five.
Kyle Sieg pitted during the last caution for new tyres, and was flying through the field, making it to fourth by lap 38.
On the same lap, Justin Bonsignore lost the back of the car and went sideways, narrowly keeping out of Gray. This was the third caution of the race.
Under caution, many drivers pit for new tyres.
Larson and Mayer lead the field with 4 to go on the stage. K. Sieg lined up behind Mayer with significantly newer tyres.
Allgaier and Larson fought for the lead as K. Sieg and Leland Honeyman rallied to the front.
K. Sieg took the lead with 2 to go.
Sammy Smith pitted during the last caution and took the lead in the last stage lap.

A. Hill swept around his teammate Love, taking thrid place on lap 65.

Larson and Mayer traded the lead multiple times throughout lap 100.

On lap 141, Smith started the first of green flag pit stops, and quite a few drivers followed suit. By this point, Larson has a gap of 7 seconds behind him.
All front runners pit as Zilisch stays out and takes the front of the field. He comes to pit on lap 148, and Larson retakes the lead with Mayer, A. Hill, Love and Allgaier behind him with a 4-second gap.
On lap 151, Allgaier sped around the inside of Love for fourth place.
Zilisch was penalized for having the crew over the wall too soon and had to drive through the pitlane, dropping him to 19th.
Creed and Love fought for the fifth position on lap 176, and there was brief contact. Neither car was damaged.
Smith had problems after going into the wall and had to pit again on lap 181. He had a slow stop as well and came out in 21st place.
With the pace that Larson was running, he had built a 12-second lead over his nearest competitor by lap 183 and was on his way to lapping Love, who was in sixth place.
With 8 laps to go, Larson laps Love, and at the same time, Gray spins, pulling out a last-minute caution.
Larson, Mayer, A. Hill and Allgaier take the opportunity for new tyres when the pitlane opens on lap 194. The lineup remains the same.
In overtime, Larson ran on the inside as A. Hill took the lead from the outside, pulling Allgaier with him. Allgaier and Mayer traded at the front until Allgaier made it stick.
