Despite consistent pressure from title favourites Corey Heim and Christian Eckes, it was Ty Majeski who outlasted the rest to clinch his maiden Trucks title. It was his third victory of the season.

As it unfolded

From pole, Majeski got the jump and led the way comfortably. But, Heim eventually reeled in the ThorSport driver and took the lead on Lap 30.

On Lap 42, Heim nearly crashed into the outside wall as the caution came out. In Turn 4, Frankie Muniz received a tap from William Sawalich and spun. He came back onto the racing surface, and Heim had to take major evasive action to avoid damage. Muniz suffered terminal damage but Heim continued on.

This caution brought an end to the stage: Heim won followed by Majeski and Christian Eckes.

Majeski led the way on the Lap 56 restart, but it only took eight laps for the next caution to come out. Whilst battling Bayley Curry in Turn 2, Jack Wood’s car snapped loose and spun with a rear impact into the outside wall. Wood retired from the race.

Majeski led again on Lap 65, but like the last stage, Heim found his way to the front by Lap 80.

The third and final stage of the season began on Lap 99 with Majeski and Heim, and the caution – followed by a red flag – showed quickly.

Coming off of Turn 2, Connor Mosack swung wide and hit the outside wall. As he slowed down, many trucks attempted to check-up – causing a pile-up that collected Tyler Ankrum, William Sawalich, and Andres Perez. Three trucks retired from the crash.

Under this red flag, NASCAR race control gave a penalty to then-leader Corey Heim after a deemed restart violation. He was sent to the tail-end of the field.

Ty Majeski led the Lap 107 restart, but only two laps later, the caution came out again. This time, it came out for Conner Jones going for a spin whilst battling ThorSport teammate Ben Rhodes.

Majeski led again on Lap 118, but the caution came out in the first corner for a spin by Truck Series ROTY Layne Riggs.

Majeski kept the lead on what turned out to be the final restart on Lap 124. Heim rallied hard and closed the gap towards the end, but it was Ty Majeski who kept his nose clean to take his maiden Truck Series Championship.
