Lola Cars have announced their decision to continue with technical partner Yamaha into the upcoming Gen4 era of Formula E in 2026.

For the first time since 2016, Formula One will have 11 teams on the grid, with American constructor Cadillac formally joining F1 in 2026.

As Formula E embarks on its next month-long break, questions still remain over the possibility of further calendar expansion for 2026.
